Have you heard of the BRAIN TO BOOKS CyberCon?
Read on to learn more!
I hadn’t heard of it until recently. For some reason, I decided that I should spend a little more time over on Goodreads. My book HUSH: A Dezeray Jackson Novel is listed three times (for some strange reason) and the reviews were scattered among the three listings.
Because Goodreads was doing maintance, there wasn’t anything I could about the problem (The kind people over at Goodreads helped me fix this today!), so I wandered around the site and came across Brain to Books. I reached out to the founder, Angela Chyrsler. You can listen to our interview here.
Basically, it’s one BIG online convention set up like you’ve traveled to an outdoor fairgrounds. The others create virtual booths and host contests. There are events happening around the clock on Goodreads and Facebook.
You can even vote in the Cover Wars (I would love it if you’d vote for HUSH, DEADLY SINS III, and NORTH DOWNING – This is your chance to see the cover for book 2 in the Dezeray Jackson Novel series! I haven’t shown it to anyone until now.)
So here are my TOP 5 Reasons You Should go to CyberCon
- It’s FREE.
- You can pop in/out and catch up on what you missed according to your schedule.
- It’s well-organized. Just check out the fairgrounds in the link up above.
- There are oodles of authors’ giveaways representing a variety of genres.
- You’ll find new great books to read and discover more indie authors to love.
Shoot me a message @kmillerwrites if you’re planning to check things out. I’ll be in/out all weekend doing a variety of activities.
Have a great hump day!
