Backward Break Falls Will Save Your … HEAD!

There are TONS of videos that demonstrate how to fall backwards. This one is a good start. (And I like that it’s a woman doing it.)

I don’t usually place one of my hands behind my head, but the part about keeping your chin to your chess can’t be emphasized enough! After you get comfortable, try having someone actually push you. That’s how I teach this particular fall.
