Have you ever met someone whose presence, regardless of what they said or did, screamed badass? You were at once, comfortable, and uneasy around them, right? They’re that person who you can’t quite describe to anyone. There’s just something about them.
Patrick Murphy re-enters Dez’s life in Deadly Sins II when he enlists her help to find his brother’s killer. He’s got an average build, dark wavy hair, and bluish-green eyes. His family is from Ireland. As a former member of MARSOC, he’s adept at blending in and not being seen.
Murphy rides a 2013 Harley-Davidson Swithcback. It belonged to his brother. He never lets Dez use it.
He speaks Arabic, some Farsi, has a working knowledge of Irish Gaelic, and can adopt an Irish accent at will. Murphy has zero patience for game-playing, is passionate about Dez, and loves a good beer.
In his free time — Who am I kidding? He has no free time. He’s always on. Once in a while, he takes time out to shoot pool, and get his ass handed to him by Dez, but even then, his watchful gaze scans every entry and point of exit.
You’ll learn a lot more about Murphy in Deadly Sins II and HUSH. Both are scheduled to be published in 2015.
